  • Founder & Managing Partner

    Prior to founding August Hill, Eric was the Chief Operating Officer of Revantage, Blackstone’s Real Estate Corporate Services. Eric is passionate about executing strategies across numerous investments, startups, and operating companies he helps operate daily. This allows Eric the opportunity to stay on top of industry trends, participate in private equity financing, and understand the challenges business owners face in the current environment.


  • Principal

    Stefan leads August Hill’s three business units. For their advisory business, he helps executives across real estate, financial services, and insurance go-to-market, enter new verticals, and scale revenue using exclusive market insights and strategies they compile from their unique position and participation within the industry. Stefan specializes in working with companies across SFR, Mortgage & Residential Real Estate, Multifamily and Insurtech. Prior to August Hill, Stefan worked for Accenture where he was a Management Consultant in the CFO & EV practice.


  • Director Of Search

    Jesse Bauer is Director of Search at RET Search, a wholly owned subsidiary of August Hill, specializing in identifying and placing top talent across a range of industries. With more than a decade of executive search experience, including roles at Lucas Group (now Korn Ferry), Grayson Search Partners, and as founder of Manufacturing Finance Search. Jesse has placed professionals in roles ranging from VP of Sales, Head to GTM, Director of Operations, General Manager and CFO to Corporate Controller, COO, and Plant Controller.

    Before entering search, Jesse spent over five years at ProTen Realty Group, where he worked with organizations ranging from small businesses to Fortune 1000 companies and government entities. That background in commercial real estate gives him a distinct perspective on the intersection of talent and operations.

    Jesse lives in Oak Park, Illinois with his wife Emily, son Atticus, and an ornery cockapoo named Osito. He is an Eagle Scout, a devoted theatre-goer, and a loyal fan of the Cubs and Bears.
